With a celebrated career spanning nearly two decades, Adam Targum is a prolific screenwriter, producer, showrunner, director, and educator. After selling his first feature script The Good Student, he transitioned into television by joining the writing staff of the Stephen King inspired USA series The Dead Zone. Adam fell in love with the collaborative energy of the TV writer’s room and vigorously continued to develop his narrative voice and producing skills on Spike’s Blade series, ...

Eleventh Hour, & CSI:NY. In 2014, he eagerly joined the writing/producing team of the critically acclaimed HBO/Cinemax series Banshee, rising to the ranks of Executive Producer/Showrunner and adding director to his resume. Adam has continued to Executive Produce and consult on countless television projects including the HBO/Cinemax horror-thriller Outcast and SyFy's comic book adaptation of Deadly Class.

In addition to television work, he returned to the feature world with his adaptation of the NYT bestseller Fearless and biopic of musical icon Glen Campbell. As a proud graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Adam spent several years back in academia teaching graduate screenwriting at USC's prestigious School of Cinematic Art. He is currently developing new TV and feature projects both here and abroad. Adam is an avid hiker, tennis player, and dog lover.
